2021 William Tucker 1624 Society African Landing Day

On Friday, August 20, 2021, the William Tucker 1624 Society held its annual African Landing Day Program. This year's theme was Bridging the Gap and the featured speaker was His Excellency Ambassador Joaquim do Espirito Santo, Angolan Ambassador to the United States. Out of the 200 attendees, additional members of the Angolan delegation, Hampton Mayor, Donnie Tuck, and various local, state and national representatives were also honored.

 
 

Working Hard to beautify

On Saturday, August 14th, 2021, Society family and friends joined together for a cemetery clean-up effort.

 
 

giving from the heart

On May 15, 2020, the Society donated $500 to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank. This donation contributed to 2,000 meals for the community.
