A Jazz Night Out

The William Tucker 1624 Society is hosting its second annual Scholarship Fundraiser, “A Jazz Night Out” on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Place Hampton Convention Center, as part of our African Landing Commemoration Weekend events. The event will feature live music from jazz saxophonist, Rick Elliott and will include complementary light hors de ’oeuvres.

All proceeds will go directly to scholarships for deserving students in Virginia. Last year’s event raised enough to award scholarships to three deserving Hampton City Public Schools students. We will be recognizing our scholarship winners at the event. Your donation will bring us one step closer to meeting our goal of distributing $10,000 in scholarships in 2024.
